The other factor that can cause your gums to bleed is hormonal imbalance in both the sexes, bad dietary habits, excessive smoking or chewing of tobacco, diabetes, genetic gum problem, pregnancy, or even serious illnesses like oral cancer and HIV infection.

Symptoms of Bleeding Gums

Bleeding gums can happen to any age and sex. While gum bleeding could lead to omnipresent foul breath, and ulcers in the mouth, it could also start looking repulsive. The gum stops looking their healthy pink and become blotchy and purple.

Remedies for Bleeding Gums

The only remedy for bleeding gums of Gingivitis is regular brushing after every major meal and flossing. Washing your mouth every so often with anti-bacterial rinses and mouthwashes will also help to keep the infections at bay. While you would be cautious of your dentures, make sure to also care for your gums. It is also advisable to be in touch with your periodontist or dentists at regular intervals to make sure you are in the pink of dental health.
